Route 77 is a numbered State Highway running 16.2 miles (26.1 km) in Rhode Island.

Note: This State highway is one of four (RI 77, RI 81, RI 177 and RI 179) whose Rhode Island sections only serve the Tiverton/Little Compton area.

Route 77 takes the following route through the State:

• Little Compton: 6.9 miles (11.1 km); Rhode Island Road to Tiverton town line
  • Town Landing, Sakonnet Point Road and West Main Road
• Tiverton: 9.3 miles (15.0 km); Little Compton town line to Route 24
  • Main Road

History

The section of Route 77 between Route 179 and Route 177 was once part of Route 126, which now runs through the Blackstone Valley.
